In addition to all the previous experiences mentioned above, my clinical nursing program has enabled me to learn and execute the following required tasks under limited or no supervision:
1. Phlebotomy procedures (blood sample collection).
2. I.V insertion, infusion therapy.
3. Intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous injection administration.
4. Transfusion therapy, wound care, stoma care, oxygen therapy.
5. ABG sampling through a cannula.
6. Medication administration.
7. Vital signs monitoring using the monitor and their specific devices (bp, pulse, temp).
8. Urine and Stool sampling.

I wish to apply for a volunteer position with your organisation in Germany. I recently completed my graduate degree program with honours in Nursing and Patient care, this training has given me the exposure to clinical nursing and patient care. I am confident in providing both clinical, psychological and emotional support to patients with the skills I gained in the past 4 years, in addition I have volunteered previously in the General and Teaching hospital in Calabar, Nigeria in my 2nd year of studies. Seeing this opportunity in Germany, I wish to apply for this position because I am confident that it will present me to a new dimension in my profession and grant me the opportunities to improve on my German knowledge and language.
