Erfahrungen in der Alten- oder Krankenpflege:
Transporting patients between care facilities and testing locations. Maintaining and cleaning environment with due consideration to health and safety and infection control policy. Supplying and emptying bed pans, bathing, dressing and grooming patients. Serving meal trays, assisting in feeding of patients and assisting patients with menu selection. weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients. supervising patients' exercises routinely, setting up and providing leisure activities for patients, accompanying patients for recreational activities. Performing other duties related to patient care and comfort. Lifting patients using appropriate equipment in accordance with moving and handling policy. Monitoring patient specimen samples and test results to effectively alert supervisors of potentially unhealthy changes. Caring for clients with diagnosed respiratory failure, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's and muscular dystrophy. Upholding infection control and prevention policies across different patient-facing areas. Facilitating personal hygiene management, feeding and ambulation and performing daily living for patients who are unable to self-care, and assists those with limited mobility in completing tasks. Maintaining patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, recording intake and outtake information. Observing patients under care conditions and treatments by helping them to complete their range of motion exercises to prevent loss of function during care. Responding to patient requests for supplies and personal comfort items such as extra blankets. Taking patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Reporting, recording fluid intake and output. Observing and monitoring patients' status, documenting patient care on charts, Collecting specimens such as urine, blood, stool and sputum. Administering suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas and performing other procedures as directed by nursing and other qualified hospital staff. Following directions of licensed nurses to administer prescribed medications and treatments. Transporting patients by wheelchair or stretcher for treatment or surgical procedures Carrying messages, reported requisitions and specimens between departments. Maintaining patients' rooms tidy. Maintaining inventories of supplies. Supervising patients on commodes, in toilets, and bathrooms and assisted patients with hygiene needs. Arranging bedding and cushions to enhance patient comfort in bed and chairs.
