Dear Sir/ Madame
I read your job alert for a new caregiver position at your company with great interest
and believe I am perfect for the position. My own caregiving journey began with my
grandfather who was very sick and was unable to look after himself. I became his
primary caregiver and the focus of my life. Without the knowledge and skills, I was able
to deliver the care I thought was necessary for him. Because of this I become very
passionate about what I was doing and I was loving it, it was like paying him back what
he has done for me in life. Unfortunately, my grandfather died and I have decided that
caregiving is an area that I would like to devote my life too. This is why I am applying to
your company because I am interested in offering my experience and skills to aiding the
lives of the people you provide care too.

My approach to caregiving comes from a very personal place and I always attempt to
make a connection with the person who needs care and put their needs and
requirements first. Having researched your company, I am impressed by the care you
provide and your encouragement for your caregivers. I also believe this is the perfect
environment for me to progress in caregiving and that I would be a valuable addition to
your caregiving team.
