Bewerbungstext:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my excitement about the opportunity to work as a caregiver. As a high school graduate
and also an Associates Degree holder from Cameroon, I come from a pastoral family with a strong tradition of
caring for the elderly. Growing up, I was surrounded by many aged family members and learned from my
father's example of always being concerned with people's health and well-being.
My personal experience of assisting my parents in taking care of the old in our family has given me a deep
appreciation for this work. In particular, I find pleasure in working with the elderly and feel fulfilled by providing
care for them. I am currently actively participating in taking care of my maternal grandmother, who has been
residing with us for over three years due to her health condition. This has given me practical experience in
feeding, bathing, administering medication, and all other aspects of elderly care.
I am particularly passionate about caring for people with disabilities and have a friendly, patient and
compassionate personality. I have found that music is a great way to connect with people and have developed
some skills in playing instruments. I believe in the power of storytelling and singing to make people feel loved
and special, and I have used this approach with my family members.
Although I have never worked as a professional caregiver, I have had many conversations with people who have
taken care of the elderly members of their family. I have learned a lot from these conversations and have
developed a strong desire to pursue this type of work.
I am a fast learner, able to work under pressure, and have a strong team spirit. I am also committed to
improving my skills and am open to feedback and suggestions. In summary, I am excited about the opportunity
to work as a caregiver. My personal experience, passion for caring for the elderly and ability to connect with
