● Supporting doctors and nurses in patient care and infection control tasks. ● Assisting patients with their inquiries, and responding to all requests promptly and effectively. ● Performing all tasks within established protocols and practice guidelines. ● Conducting basic health checks including height, weight, pulse, and providing lifestyle advice. ● Maintaining accurate patient records of all patient encounters per practice guidelines. ● In consultation with a supervising physician, perform diagnostic tests, and assist with administering medication. ● Provide basic wound care with support from the nursing team. ● Handling specimens and clinical waste correctly and ensuring accurate decontamination policies. ● Cleaning and maintaining equipment, and laying out surgical instruments. ● Ensure patient safety and comfort, support their daily activities including assisting them in using equipment to move, and help them eat, drink, and maintain personal hygiene.
