In my internship role as a healthcare assistant at Rukeen hospital, I have worked tirelessly towards supporting patients in their daily grooming, errands and medication administration. I understand the importance of safety, hygiene and emotional well-being of our patients and I have contributed immensely to the quick recovery of our patients especially the elderly and children. I have developed an empathic nature towards comprehending the sufferings and pains of others. I am an incredible problem solver and able to work in a team. I am jovial, compassionate and very understanding. I have developed adequate knowledge of people and their temperaments, and I am able to interact with persons of different ages and backgrounds respectfully. In addition, I took care of my maternal grandmother before her passing a few years ago and i support my family now in caring for my paternal grandmother who is above 90 years old, and I can tell you I have a considerable experience looking after aged people.

In addition, I possess a good knowledge of public health and infection control because of my past 6-months internship at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR). I have elaborated on this knowledge through Allison's Diploma in caregiving certificate and Care certificates from Florence Academy. I am very willing to pursue a higher certificate as soon as I am able to afford it. I can confidently provide care services to both children and the elderly. I am a fast learner and eager to learn new things, therefore, I am ready to partake in any subsequent training that your organization may present to enable me to work for you effectively.
