I am writing to express my interest in volunteering in geriatric care in Germany. I am from Egypt and I do not speak German, but I am eager to learn and I am confident that I can still be a valuable asset to your team.
I recently graduated with bachelor degree in chemistry, so you will find a well educated person.
I have been working as a volunteer in geriatric care in Egypt. In this role, I have provided companionship, support, and assistance to elderly people in need especially my parents. I have also helped with activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
I am motivated to volunteer in geriatric care in Germany because I believe that it is important to give back to the community and to help those who are less fortunate. I am also drawn to the challenge of learning a new language and culture.
I am fluent in Arabic and English. I am currently learning German and I am confident that I will be able to communicate effectively with your residents within a few months.
I am available to volunteer for +30 hours per week. I am flexible with my schedule and I am willing to work around your needs.
