Bewerbungstext:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Nursing and Geriatric Care Volunteering Position Application under BFD Program

I write to express my interest in the Nursing and geriatric care volunteering opportunity available under the Bundesfreiwilligendienst Program. Having an avid interest in offering positive change in the lives of the elderly, I look forward to committing my time, skills, and compassion to caring for those in need.

I hold a certificate in nursing assistance, equipped with the necessary skills of handling patients: hygiene management and supporting basic medical needs. The training has grown my interest in geriatric care, through which I have grown to appreciate the different needs and challenges presented by this particular age group. I believe my qualifications, coupled with a burning desire to serve, make me an appropriate fit for the position.

This volunteering opportunity in Germany via the BFD program especially appeals to me because it offers me a full immersion into a new culture while making a difference toward a cause. I am very interested in finding out more about the German healthcare system, improving my language, and receiving practical experience in the care of patients in their old age.

I commit to completing the program and utilizing the training and experiences that will be provided. I strongly believe that this opportunity will not only give me a privilege to make a difference in elderly lives but also enrich my life with wider perspectives and more developed skills.

I have attached my resume, which serves better to explain my background and experiences. I would appreciate discussing my application further and can make myself available at your convenience for an interview.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of serving in your team and the community you serve.

Yours sincerely,
Mary Osiemo
