With no educational background in geriatric care,I took care of my sick grandmother. I was responsible for preparing meals and ensuring her personal hygiene whiles providing emotional support and companionship. I assisted her to take her medication and meals on time. It was during this time that gained valuable knowledge and experience on caring for the elderly. I learnt to be patience and empathic towards people in need.
I am highly motivated to learn and gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment. I believe that voluntary service will allow me to make a meaningful impact while providing valuable support to the nursing staff and patients in need of special care.
I possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, which I believe would be beneficial in assisting with various tasks such as patient care, administrative duties, or any other responsibilities required by the team. I am a compassionate and reliable individual, and I am ready to dedicate my time and energy to supporting your team in any way I can.
