I haven’t worked in nursing or geriatric care before, but I’m familiar with the basics. I understand that it requires a lot of patience, compassion, and love and it is mainly about helping and assisting elderly people with their daily tasks.

I am applying for a volunteer position in geriatric care because I care deeply about helping others, especially the elderly. I believe this opportunity will allow me to contribute meaningfully while gaining valuable experience in a field I respect.
I speak Arabic (my native language), fluent English, and have an A2 level in German, which I am actively improving. My background includes working as a teacher, which taught me patience and clear communication, and in a call center where I assisted elderly clients with technology—an experience that helped me understand their needs and how to support them calmly and respectfully.
