I have one year of hands-on experience as a volunteer Care Support Worker, where I supported elderly and vulnerable individuals with daily living activities. My responsibilities included assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, toileting, meal preparation, feeding (including spoon-feeding), and providing both emotional and physical support. I also followed person-centered care plans, supported individuals with learning disabilities, and helped with administering medication under supervision.
This experience strengthened my empathy, patience, and ability to work in a team, and confirmed my passion for contributing to the well-being of others.
