Bewerbungstext:

My name is Gibson Njonjo, and I am writing to express my interest in participating in your volunteer program in the field of nursing and geriatric care. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology and have a deep passion for service, care, and community development.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to volunteer as a nursing assistant at a local community health center in Nairobi, where I supported elderly patients with their daily needs, offered companionship, and helped maintain a clean and safe environment. This experience awakened in me a strong interest in the health and well-being of older people, and it inspired me to pursue further opportunities in this field.

I am especially drawn to Germany’s commitment to social service and its structured volunteer programs, which I believe provide a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully. I look forward to learning from professionals in geriatric care, improving my intercultural communication skills, and gaining hands-on experience that will help shape my future career—possibly in healthcare or social services.

I am responsible, empathetic, and eager to learn. I believe that through this program, I can make a real difference in the lives of those in need, while also enriching my own understanding of caregiving and global citizenship.

Thank you very much for considering my application. I am enthusiastic about the possibility of joining your team and contributing to your mission.
