Dear Sir or Madam
I would like to apply for a Voluntary Social Year(FSJ) at your institution,as I am very interested in gaining more practical experience in the social field and also contributing in helping others.I have always enjoyed working with people,especially kids and the elderly and I would also like to increase my experiences in other fields like helping people with disabilities and those who will need my assistance.

My interest in Social area has always developed since I used to see volunteers helping the people in my village during my school years,it motivated me to study social work and after my school, I was able to gain some practical skills when I got a chance to work at a Rescue Center,there I was working with kids and adults especially women who have gone through Gender Based Violence and Trafficking,this experience had a great impact in my life and it strengthened my desire to work in a social or healthcare profession in the future.

During my work at the rescue center I gained alot of knowledge that I believe will be of great impact in your team if I get the chance to join in,and I also believe that through FSJ I will be able to deepen my skills,learn more about working in a team and take responsibility.I am reliable,empathethic and highly motivated to support your team and learn as much as I can during this year.I am also excited to learn new cultures and to improve my German language skills.
