Erfahrungen in der Alten- oder Krankenpflege:
My experience in hospitality has honed my ability to apply the ILEAD principle- Identify, Listen, Emphasize, Apologize, and Deliver-a framework that aligns closely with patient-centered care in nursing.
Identify - Quickly assessing a patient's needs, concerns, or discomfort, much like anticipating a guest's request.
Listen - Actively paying attention to patients, their families, and healthcare teams to understand their emotional and physical needs.
Emphasize - Showing genuine compassion and validating their feelings, ensuring they feel heard and respected.
Apologize - Taking accountability when delays or challenges arise (e.g., wait times, procedural discomfort) to build trust.
Deliver - Providing timely, solutions-oriented care while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
This approach has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and prioritize patient well-being-skills I am eager to bring to nursing.
While I do not have prior nursing experience, I am deeply committed to learning and developing the necessary skills to excel in this field. My background in hospitality has equipped me with essential qualities-including a strong service attitude, active listening, confidence, and responsiveness-that I believe will translate well into patient care. I am eager to apply these transferable skills in a healthcare setting and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
