Bewerbungstext:

My name is Shahd Youssef, a Syrian student. I completed the high school final exams, scientific stream, in Syria with a grade of 100. I traveled to Russia and completed the preparatory year to learn the Russian language, and I am about to start studying medicine.
I started learning the German language about a month ago, and I plan to continue learning it over two years because I aspire to travel and complete or re-study medicine in Germany, where the environment supports outstanding students, encourages scientific research and critical thinking, and provides many opportunities for promising students.

In my country, I did not have the opportunity to volunteer due to what I suffered from war and poverty, as my maximum focus was on studying and working all the time without any activities or volunteering. I have searched a lot for study opportunities and started to learn about global systems in selecting scholarship recipients, and during that, my eyes fell on the great importance of volunteering and the benefits it reflects on the individual and society.

My profession, which is medicine, is compatible with volunteering from the humanitarian side, as both require the person to be humane and ready to give and provide help.
What I lived in my country of poverty and war, and in Russia from responsibility and difficulties due to work and study, changed my way of thinking and made me see volunteering as a duty for every young person instead of being a luxury or a waste of time. There is always someone who needs help, and we must look at him with a compassionate eye and do our best.

I intend, after volunteering, to apply to re-study medicine in Germany, where the advanced supportive environment encourages thinking and innovation.
I hope you find me a suitable candidate for this wonderful mission, and thank you very much.
