Good day sir/mam

I am a 37 year old South African wanting to do more globally and to expand my experience with the diversity in different traditions and cultures. Growing up I didn't have it all so my siblings and I would always have wishes. One of my wishes was to be able to someday help children and the elderly. I did the one part of my wish and became a teacher. The latter, I know, I can accomplish by doing voluntary work in Germany. Our children and the eldery have one definite thing in common. They need others to be safe and secure. This is a realization as I see my mother can't hear properly anymore, she uses chronic medication and a reminder to take it. My mother has 7 children and a lot of grandchildren, so she'll be well taken care of. I would love to avail myself to care for the elderly in Germany. It would bring me great joy to know that in my life I had to get both my wishes come true. Something I know that is rare in life.

It would be such an honour to be considered for the voluntary program in Germany. To spread my wings wide and mean something even if it's just to one person.
