My name is Winnie Anyango Gabriel, and I am currently an au pair in the Netherlands. I have a strong passion for helping others, especially those in need of care and comfort, and I believe volunteering in this field will allow me to make a meaningful contribution to the community.

I have volunteered in children's home(kids with disabilities home) for a period of 1 year

Although I may not have formal training in the medical field, I bring with me strong interpersonal skills, dedication, and a willingness to learn and support others. I am especially drawn to roles that involve spending time with elderly or vulnerable individuals, offering companionship, and assisting in their day-to-day well-being.

Volunteering in this field would also help me grow personally and professionally, as I aim to pursue a long-term path in the social or care sector. Being already based in the Netherlands, I am flexible and available to support where needed.

Coming from Kenya, I was raised in a culture that values empathy, kindness, and service. During my time as an au pair, I’ve had the opportunity to care for children, adapt to a new environment, and learn the importance of patience, responsibility, and emotional support qualities that are deeply relevant in healthcare.
