Erfahrungen in der Alten- oder Krankenpflege:
I have volunteered at Dowa District Hospital, where I supported patient care, nutrition assessment, and health education for women and children. Through CorpsAfrica, I worked in rural communities, providing health and nutrition awareness, supporting vulnerable groups, and promoting hygiene and food security. These experiences strengthened my skills in patient support, empathy and community health skills directly applicable to nursing and geriatric care.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Security and Nutrition and I have developed a strong passion for improving health and well-being among vulnerable populations.
Through my academic training, I gained knowledge in nutrition, disease prevention and food systems that directly influence the quality of life of older adults. My volunteer experience with CorpsAfrica, where I worked in rural communities and my role at Dowa District Hospital, where I supported women and children, strengthened my skills in patient care, health education and community support. These experiences taught me the importance of empathy, patience and holistic approaches to health values that are essential in geriatric nursing.
I believe my background in nutrition, combined with my practical experience in healthcare and community service, provides a strong foundation to contribute meaningfully in elderly care. I am eager to expand my knowledge and skills in geriatric nursing and to use them in promoting healthy aging, supporting families, and improving the quality of life for the elderly.
