RE: Application for Placement as a Geriatric Nurse

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in applying for a placement as a Geriatric Nurse under the Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD) program in Germany. I hold a Certificate in Home Health Care, which has equipped me with essential skills in basic caregiving, patient assistance, and supporting individuals with their daily living needs.

Although I do not yet have formal work experience, my training has provided me with practical knowledge in areas such as personal hygiene support, patient comfort, and compassionate elderly care. I am eager to further develop these skills through hands-on experience in a professional environment, while contributing positively to the well-being of elderly people in Germany.

The BFD program presents a valuable opportunity for me to serve in elderly care, gain exposure to the German healthcare system, and build my professional career in geriatric nursing. I am motivated, hardworking, and willing to learn the German language to integrate better into the community and workplace.
