Bewerbungstext:

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my keen interest in pursuing a role in Geriatric Care. As a dedicated Technical Officer (Nutrition) with over three years of experience in community health and nutrition programs, I have developed a strong foundation in providing compassionate care, health education, and nutritional support to vulnerable groups, including mothers, children, and caregivers. These skills, I believe, are directly transferable to ensuring the wellbeing, dignity, and comfort of elderly individuals.
During my service at Gushegu Municipal Hospital, I provided one-on-one counseling to over 200 pregnant women and lactating mothers, facilitated growth monitoring for children, and coordinated large-scale Vitamin A supplementation campaigns. These experiences strengthened my ability to deliver individualized care, manage health interventions, and communicate effectively with diverse populations. Additionally, my work as a Polio Independent Monitor with WHO/GHS involved engaging with households, addressing health hesitancy, and ensuring high coverage in immunization campaigns further demonstrating my capacity for patience, empathy, and problem-solving.
Beyond health expertise, I bring strong organizational and IT skills, including data management, cloud-based reporting, and digital solutions, which can enhance documentation and monitoring in geriatric care settings. My volunteer experience in health outreach and food demonstrations also reflects my commitment to education, community engagement, and improving quality of life.
I am highly motivated to contribute to Germany’s healthcare system, where I can combine my nutrition and public health background with a deep sense of compassion to support the elderly in living healthier, more fulfilling lives. I am adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to integrate into new environments to provide quality care.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to further discuss how my skills and experiences can be valuable in a geriatric care role.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
