Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my sincere interest in joining the Bundesfreiwilligendienst. I am highly motivated to take part in volunteer work and to dedicate my time and energy to supporting people, animals, and the environment.
As a schoolchild, I regularly took part in visits to nursing homes, where we performed small concerts to bring joy to the residents. I also participated in a school initiative to help repair a damaged church. These early experiences shaped my understanding of compassion and community spirit.
As an adult, I continued this path: at my workplace, I participated in charity campaigns aimed at helping sick children and low-income families. I have also supported a local dog shelter, both financially and by helping care for the animals.
Currently, I work at a school, where I support my students every day — not only in their learning, but also in their mental and physical well-being. This daily work with young people strengthens my belief that kindness, empathy, and responsibility can make a real difference.
Volunteering gives me a profound sense of purpose and connection. Helping people, nature, and animals is something that truly fulfills me and motivates me to keep growing as a person.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to join the BFD and to continue growing through service to the community.
