Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for a placement under the Federal Volunteer Service (Bundesfreiwilligendienst – BFD) program. I am highly motivated to contribute to society, support others, and gain practical experience in Germany through voluntary service.

I am particularly interested in placements within elderly care, health care, disability assistance, child and youth welfare, and social services. I enjoy helping people, working in a team, and taking responsibility in a respectful and professional manner.

I am currently learning German at A1 level and I am committed to improving my language skills through daily study and real-life interaction. I am patient, reliable, open to learning, and able to follow instructions carefully in a working environment.

Although I do not yet have formal professional experience in nursing or geriatric care, I am very interested in this field and willing to receive training. I am comfortable assisting with daily activities, supporting elderly or vulnerable people, and contributing positively to the workplace.

In addition, I have basic computer skills, good communication abilities, and a strong willingness to learn. Through the BFD program, I hope to develop both personally and professionally while contributing meaningfully to your organization and the community.
