Bewerbungstext:

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

hiermit bewerbe ich mich um einen Platz im **Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD)** im **Gesundheits- bzw. Krankenhausbereich** in Ihrer Einrichtung. Derzeit verfüge ich über **Deutschkenntnisse auf dem Niveau A2** und arbeite aktiv daran, meine Sprachkenntnisse weiter zu verbessern.

---

I am applying for a position in the **Federal Volunteer Service (Bundesfreiwilligendienst – BFD)** within the **healthcare or hospital sector** at your institution.

I hold a **degree in Public Health** and have practical experience in the health sector through my volunteer work in a **malaria program**. During this program, I participated in health education activities, preventive interventions, and community support. This experience strengthened my interest in healthcare services and patient-centered work.

I am particularly interested in completing my BFD in a hospital environment, as it would allow me to gain hands-on experience within the German healthcare system while supporting nursing and healthcare staff in their daily duties. I enjoy working with people, assisting patients, and contributing positively to team-based environments.

I currently hold a **German language certificate at A2 level** and am highly motivated to continue improving my German skills through daily practice and professional interaction during the BFD.

I am reliable, motivated, and adaptable, and I am open to new challenges. In the long term, I aim to further develop my professional career in the healthcare sector in Germany.

I would be very pleased to contribute my skills, commitment, and enthusiasm to your institution. I look forward to the opportunity of an interview or to receiving further information regarding the next steps in the application process.

**Yours faithfully,**

**Afolabi Funmilola**
