I am highly motivated to take part in a Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr in the healthcare sector because I want to gain practical experience in nursing and confirm my long-term career goal of completing an Ausbildung as a Pflegefachkraft in Germany.
Although I am currently studying Computer Science at Mahidol University International College in Thailand, I have realized that I am more fulfilled when working directly with people rather than focusing only on technical systems. Through reflection and personal experience, I developed a strong interest in healthcare and supporting individuals who need care and assistance.
An FSJ would give me the opportunity to understand the daily responsibilities in nursing, improve my German language skills, and develop important personal qualities such as empathy, patience, responsibility, and teamwork. I am hardworking, adaptable, and willing to learn. I am also mentally and physically prepared for the challenges of working in healthcare.
My long-term goal is to complete a nursing Ausbildung in Germany and build a stable professional career in the healthcare field. I see the FSJ as an important first step toward this goal.
