I did not work as a geriatric care worker, but I gained experience by helping and supporting elderly people through other types of work such as, cooking for them, cleaning, and sometimes giving them company to the clinic or hospital.
Bewerbungstext:
I have a strong interest in helping people work with the elders because I respect their life experience and wisdom. In my community and family, I have supported older people with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, helping them move safely, and sometimes accompanying them to medical appointments.
Through this experience, I learned to be patient, attentive, and compassionate. Elderly people often need emotional support as much as physical help. I understand the importance of listening carefully, speaking kindly, and treating others with respect and dignity.
I am especially motivated to work in geriatric care because I want lean new skills and make a positive difference in the lives of older people and support them in living comfortably and safely.
