I am writing to express my interest in participating in the Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD) in Germany. I am a motivated and dedicated professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science, specializing in Records Management and Archives Administration, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management.

I have been working as an Archivist, where I have gained valuable experience in records preservation, information management, documentation, and ensuring access to institutional information. Previously, I worked as a Librarian at a nursing training school, where I supported students and staff in accessing learning resources and maintaining an organized library environment. Alongside this role, I also worked part-time as a university teacher, which strengthened my communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.

I am interested in the BFD because I would like to contribute my knowledge and skills while gaining practical experience in a new cultural and professional environment. I am particularly interested in opportunities involving archives, libraries, education, social services, cultural institutions, or community development.

I am responsible, adaptable, hardworking, and eager to learn. I would be grateful for the opportunity to serve, develop professionally, and contribute positively to an organization in Germany.
