Application for nursing and geriatric care in Germany

I am applying for a position in the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) / Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) because working in the social and healthcare field is an important career option for me, especially in nursing and geriatric care.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in German Studies (German as a Foreign Language) and experience in voluntary work, including helping people affected by the earthquake in West Sulawesi, Indonesia. These experiences strengthened my sense of responsibility, empathy, and teamwork.

In addition, I have personal experience caring for my grandparents, where I supported them in daily activities, accompanied them, and helped with basic care. This experience increased my interest in working with elderly people and confirmed my motivation to work in care.

I am reliable, patient, and motivated to support others. Voluntary service and vocational training in nursing are suitable options that match my skills, experience, and interests.
