Professional experience in nursing or geriatric care:
I completed secondary-level vocational education in Nursing in Brazil, where I acquired a solid foundation in basic nursing care and patient support. Although I have not worked professionally in the field for several years, my education included mandatory clinical internships in different healthcare settings. During my internship in a general hospital, I gained practical experience assisting with general patient care, wound dressing and suture assistance, venipuncture, medication support, and other basic nursing procedures under professional supervision. I also completed a mental health internship in a psychiatric hospital, where I learned about patient observation, emotional support, and compassionate care for individuals with mental health conditions. In addition, I completed a geriatric care internship, where I worked closely with older adults. This experience included assisting with daily care, administering medications under supervision, monitoring patients, providing comfort, and supporting elderly people with respect, patience, and dignity. These experiences strengthened my communication skills, empathy, responsibility, and ability to work as part of a healthcare team. I am highly motivated to update my knowledge, continue learning, and dedicate myself to providing high-quality care for elderly people in Germany.
