I am writing to express my strong interest and enthusiasm in participating in the Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD) in Germany, specifically within the field of geriatric care (Altenpflege) or care for children with disability. With an academic background in Community Mental Health and specialized training in Dementia Care and Mental Health, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, dignified, and person-centered support to elderly individuals.

My educational background including a Bachelor of Science in Community Mental Health and certifications from the WHO Academy has provided me with both the theoretical foundation and practical skills necessary to support older adults and children. Through my clinical training and caregiving experience, I have worked directly with both children and elderly clients experiencing cognitive decline, dementia, and age-related physical limitations. I have gained hands-on experience assisting with daily living activities, facilitating therapeutic communication, managing behavioral changes with empathy, and fostering an environment that preserves every resident's dignity and autonomy.

The Bundesfreiwilligendienst represents an extraordinary opportunity for me to contribute meaningfully to social service in Germany while immersing myself in German culture and society. I view geriatric or childcare service not merely as a set of care duties, but as a vital opportunity to offer companionship, emotional well-being, and structured daily support to elderly community members. I am also actively dedicated to start my German language learning to communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, staff, and families.
