Application text:

I am a licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital and community pharmacy, as well as pharmaceutical quality assurance. Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work closely with patients, healthcare professionals and people within the community. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of empathy, teamwork, responsibility and genuinely caring about the needs of others.
My interest in volunteering started in 2017, when I participated in a UN healthcare volunteering programme in Egypt. It was a valuable and memorable experience that gave me the opportunity to interact with people from different backgrounds and contribute to activities that supported their health and well-being. That experience inspired me to continue looking for opportunities where I can give my time, knowledge and skills to help others.
I am open to volunteering in any sector because I believe that making a difference is not limited to what we do professionally. I am willing to learn new things, take on new challenges and contribute wherever I am needed. I also look forward to meeting people from different backgrounds, learning from their experiences and being part of a team working towards a common goal.
What motivates me most is knowing that even a small effort can make a positive difference in someone's life or in a community. For me, volunteering is not simply about giving my time, it is about serving others, learning, growing as a person and being part of something meaningful.
I bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, healthcare and pharmaceutical knowledge, experience in patient support and health education and the ability to work well in a team. I am also a good problem-solver, attentive to detail, adaptable and comfortable working with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
