I took take of my late grand-parents before they died. They were old and suffered from old age diseases. And I had to help as their grand child.
Application text:
I am writing to apply as a volunteer in geriatric care. I would like to support elderly people and learn more about care work in Germany.
I am a reliable and patient person. I enjoy helping others and I am not afraid of physical work. I have experience with older people – for example, I helped care for my grandfather. I also have basic first-aid training.
My German is at B1 level. I understand and speak well in daily situations. I am motivated to improve my language skills and to learn new things every day.
I am flexible with working hours and open to different tasks, such as helping with meals, mobility, or daily activities.
