Application for nursing and geriatric care in Germany

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to express my sincere interest in participating in the Incoming Voluntary Service Program of Education in Germany.

My strongest motivation comes from my genuine desire to support elderly people. Since childhood, I have carried a personal dream of creating a safe and dignified home for elderly people. This dream began when I once witnessed an elderly couple eating their food while sitting on the ground. Their situation deeply affected me, and that day I decided that, when I was able, I would do something to help elderly people live with greater dignity, care, and respect.

I have also gained personal caregiving experience through caring for my aunt, who was disabled in her legs and lived alone. Although I do not currently hold a formal caregiving certificate, this experience taught me patience, compassion, responsibility, and the importance of treating people with dignity.

I am currently learning German and am committed to improving my language skills so that I can communicate effectively with colleagues and the people I support. I am willing to continue learning German and obtain the required language certification.

I am a responsible, hardworking, patient, and adaptable person. I am ready to work full-time, learn from experienced staff, accept guidance, and contribute positively to my host organization. I understand that voluntary service is about serving others, learning from a new culture, and developing personally.

For me, this opportunity would be much more than simply spending a year abroad. It would be an important step toward a long-term dream that I have carried since childhood. I would be honored to serve elderly people, gain practical experience, improve my German, and learn how I can contribute to creating a better environment for older people in the future.
