In my 10 years as a Youth Pastor, I have also been actively involved in pastoral care for the aged in our church and community, through home visitations, hospital ministry, spiritual counseling and welfare support. I understand that caring for the aged requires patience, respect, listening, spiritual encouragement and practical love. I am willing and prepared to serve the elderly population in Germany with the love of Christ.

3. Emotional and Social Support
• Counseling those dealing with loneliness, loss of spouse, abandonment by children
• Connecting them back to the church family so they don't feel forgotten
• Organizing youth to visit and help the aged - creating inter-generational love
4. Practical Support
• Mobilizing the church welfare department to support the aged with food, clothing, and financial help
• Helping to organize medical support and hospital visits
• Praying and supporting those with dementia, stroke, and age-related sickness
5. What I Understand About the Aged in Germany
• Many elderly in Germany suffer from deep loneliness and isolation
• Many are in Pflegeheim (Old People's Homes) and need love, companionship and spiritual presence
• They need someone who will listen, pray with them, and give them value
• As an African Pastor, I bring natural respect, patience, and community spirit for elders
