Professional experience in nursing or geriatric care:
I worked as a Child Care Unit Worker at Pakistan Bait ul Maal Sweet Home, providing direct daily care and support to children in a residential setting, and I currently serve as Team Lead at the National Institute of Special Education (NISE), supporting individuals with special needs. I also completed a Clinical Internship at DHQ Hospital Sheikhupura, giving me exposure to a clinical/hospital environment. These experiences have built my comfort with hands-on caregiving, patience, and working closely with vulnerable individuals.

Application text:

I am a psychology graduate (B1 German) with several years of hands-on experience in community welfare, youth leadership, and organizational psychology, gained through volunteer and professional roles in Pakistan. My background includes minority welfare work, supporting individuals with special education needs as a team lead, and serving as a mental health ambassador — all of which have strengthened my commitment to compassionate, people-centered service.
I am motivated to undertake a Voluntary Service (FSJ/BFD) in Germany to contribute meaningfully to a social or care-oriented team, while gaining international experience and deepening my German language skills. I bring strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and genuine dedication to supporting vulnerable and underserved groups, and I am eager to bring this experience to an organization where I can learn, grow, and make a real difference.
