Application for nursing and geriatric care in Germany

My name is Moin Sarwar , and I am currently working in Oman. I am writing to express my strong interest in participating in the Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD) program in Germany.

I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce and have approximately seven years of professional work experience. I have mainly worked in the pharmaceutical field as a Medical Representative, where I have developed strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer-service skills. My professional experience has taught me how to work responsibly with different people, understand their needs, communicate information clearly, and work effectively as part of a team.

Through my work in the pharmaceutical sector, I have developed a particular interest in the healthcare and social-care environment. I would now like to gain practical experience in Germany through voluntary service while contributing positively to the organization and the people I will be working with.

I am motivated to participate in the BFD because I see it as an opportunity to serve others, develop new skills, experience German society and culture, and gain valuable practical experience. I am willing to learn, take responsibility, and adapt to a new working environment. I am also prepared to improve my German language skills and communicate respectfully with colleagues, residents, patients, and other people I may meet during my voluntary service.

My professional background has made me disciplined, reliable, patient, and comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds. I believe these qualities, together with my willingness to learn and serve, would allow me to make a positive contribution as a volunteer.
