Application for nursing and geriatric care in Germany

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my strong interest in joining your organisation as a Federal Volunteer Service (BFD) volunteer in geriatric care. I hold an HND in Hospitality Management, where I developed strong skills in caring for people, communication, hygiene, organisation, teamwork and providing support according to individual needs. Although my academic background is in hospitality, my training taught me the importance of patience, respect, responsibility and treating every person with dignity. I would like to transfer these qualities into social elderly care and gain meaningful practical experience in the nursing

I am a compassionate, reliable and hardworking person who is willing to learn and take on new responsibilities. My previous experience supporting and teaching children has also strengthened my patience, communication and sense of responsibility. I am particularly interested in working with older people because I believe they deserve respectful, patient and caring support. I would be grateful for the opportunity to contribute to your team, learn from experienced professionals, improve my German language skills and develop myself through the BFD programme. I am ready to adapt, learn and give my best to the people entrusted to my care.
